OLIve is currently running 2 non-degree programs, OLIve Weekend Program (OLIve-WP) and OLIve University Preparatory Program (OLIve-UP). It is important to keep in mind that the eligibility criteria for the 2 programs are different so make sure you read the description of the programs and the information on admissions carefully before applying.
- OLIve-WP accepts applications from asylum seekers and refugees in Hungary. There are around 45 places each term. Students have very diverse levels of education and English. Courses take place only on Saturdays, between 09:20 and 18:00, at Central European University for 18 weeks per term, and students are required to attend all the courses they are registered for.
- OLIve-UP accepts applications from refugees all over Europe. This is a full-time, fully-funded program and requires the presence of the students in Budapest for the entire duration of the studies. Accepted candidates who do not reside in Hungary need to have a valid travel document and apply for a student visa.
Please note that both programs are non-degree and do not automatically offer entrance to BA or MA programs at CEU or elsewhere.
