Rohit joined OLIve UP as the tutor for Human Rights in 2021. Rohit is a second year SJD/PhD student in the Legal Studies department at CEU. His area of study broadly concerns constitutional and human rights law. His research focuses on citizenship and associated issues such as migration and forced displacement. Before joining OLIve UP Rohit was employed as an assistant lecturer at the Jindal Global Law School in India, where he co-taught a course on Jurisprudence and Legal Theory. His pedagogy prioritises discussion over lectures and maintains that students ought to be treated as beacons of knowledge and not as empty containers waiting to be filled with the instructor’s finite wisdom, which promotes deliberation and critical enquiry.
